scrambies.golf uses cookies and similar browser storage to understand how the site is used, to show and measure ads, and to keep our forms free of bots. Here’s what runs and how to turn it off.
Analytics
PostHog shows us how people use the site, such as which pages lead to the waitlist. It sets a first-party cookie (and local storage) with an anonymous ID, so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. We never send PostHog the email address or other details you type into a form.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and measures page speed. It doesn’t use cookies.
Advertising
We and our advertising partners may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to show you Scrambies ads on other sites and apps, to show ads that fit your interests, and to measure how ads perform. Our privacy policy explains what’s shared and your choices.
Bot protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It may store a short-lived security token in your browser while you use a form; it isn’t used for advertising.
Other storage on your device
We use your browser’s session storage to remember which campaign link brought you to the site until you close the tab, so a waitlist sign-up can record it, and local storage to remember small preferences, such as your light or dark theme.
Your choices
- Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track: if your browser sends either signal, PostHog and advertising tools don’t load at all, and we treat Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of targeted advertising.
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and site data at any time. The site still works; we just can’t recognize a returning visit.
- Opt out by email: write to privacy@scrambies.golf with the subject “Opt out”.
