These terms are an agreement between you and Scrambies LLC, a New Hampshire company that operates Scrambies Golf (“Scrambies”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Scrambies apps, the web app and scrambies.golf. By using Scrambies you agree to them.
Who can use Scrambies
Scrambies is available only in the United States right now. You must live in the US to create an account, and events and leagues on Scrambies must take place there. We’ll update these terms as we open Scrambies in other regions.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. If you use Scrambies for a league, event, course or club, you confirm you’re allowed to act for it.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at support@scrambies.golf if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Events, leagues and scores
Organizers, courses and clubs set up events and leagues, choose formats and rules, and decide results. Scrambies provides the tools; we aren’t responsible for how an event is run or for prizes. Enter scores honestly. Scores entered by a scorer or with an event PIN count as entered for that team.
Money and wagers
Scrambies doesn’t take, hold or pay out bets or side wagers. Contests like Skins, CTP and Long Drive are tracked for fun and for the organizer’s records; any money that changes hands between players is between them and must follow local law.
Paid plans
Golfers can use Scrambies for free. Leagues, events, courses and clubs may buy season or annual packages, and individual members may buy optional upgrades when they launch. Prices, what each plan includes and refund terms will be shown before you buy and form part of these terms.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, show and share it as needed to run Scrambies (for example, showing your scores on a leaderboard or your photo in the Clubhouse). You’re responsible for having the right to post it. Follow our community guidelines; we may remove content or suspend accounts that don’t.
Sponsors, ads and other services
Events and leagues may show sponsors chosen by the organizer or by us. Scrambies also shows ads, which may be based on how you use it; our privacy policy explains this and how to opt out. Links to other sites and services are provided as a convenience; their terms apply there.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Scrambies: no attempts to break in, overload or reverse-engineer it, no scraping, no automated accounts, no impersonation, and nothing illegal.
Our service
We work hard to keep Scrambies available and accurate, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Golf courses have bad signal: scores are saved on your phone and sync when you’re back online, but we can’t guarantee every score arrives or every board updates in real time.
Liability
Free use. If you use Scrambies without paying us, you use it at your own risk, and to the fullest extent the law allows, Scrambies and its owners, employees and partners aren’t liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of it.
Paid plans. If you’ve paid us, then to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Ending your use
You can stop using Scrambies and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we have to stop offering Scrambies, with notice where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Scrambies after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
